Bedelia C Hargrove received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Seton Hall University in Political Science and Public Administration in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Georgia State University in 1996. She began her career as an Associate Attorney in Atlanta at a reputable civil litigation firm in 1997. Bedelia opened the Hargrove Law Firm in 2003, specializing in estates, probate, personal injury, wrongful death, family law, employment law, and general litigation.
Bedelia has served as the Attorney for the Fulton County Grievance Review Committee for twelve years and has served as a Judicial Hearing Officer for the Fulton County Probate Court for four years. Bedelia is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of Georgia, the United States District Court-Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Bedelia is a member of the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She formerly served as Vice Chair of Sports for the Entertainment and Sports Law Section from 1999 to 2002. During that same time, Bedelia was a certified player agent with the Women’s National Basketball Player’s Association representing athletes in contract and endorsement negotiations. Bedelia has resided in Atlanta for eighteen years. |
